Apple - Missing Curve Cash

Every time I spend with Apple my Curve Cash reward is never applied automatically. I have to chase the funds every time. Why?

What is the specific problem with Apple and when will this ever get rectified?

We’re sorry that your Curve Cash isn’t automatically applied for Apple purchases. This happens because merchants use different names when posting transactions, so we have to manually update these so that the points are applied. We regularly do this, so you won’t need to contact us to manually apply the points in the future.

Standard at the moment - I have to do the same with a few of the BP Garages I visit as 3 out of 4 of them are not registered as ‘BP’ so temporarily, I have to send them the receipt as soon as I’ve paid and they manually add them on.
