Just scrolled trough Google Pay’s supported banks & cards and found this…
What do mean? If you can add credit cards to your Curve card or if Curve comes with a Curve Credit Card himself?
No credit card from curve at the moment
If Curve issued cards that were designated as credit cards, as opposed to only debit cards currently, then for Curve’s consumer cards the interchange fee could be increased from 0.2% to 0.3%. For Curve’s commercial cards, it would make no difference.
Credit card usually means there is actual credit available to customer
Or maybe they’ll issue credit cards like bunq’s travel card.
Bunq is bank. Curve is not bank. Not sure if Curve can issue Credit cards.
Curve isn’t a bank but Wirecard who issues the Curve Card is.
Curve’s existing “debit” cards are not true debit cards, so if Curve starts issuing cards with a “credit” card type, then it will be the same story. I suggest that this is just a way to increase Curve consumer cards’ interchange fee from 0.2% to 0.3% with the justification that the underlying card is more often a credit card than a debit card.
