I have been trying to dispute a charge since late June and the dispute team is yet to file the dispute on my behalf. Wouldn’t it be easier if users could file a dispute on their own and submit all the evidence they have on an interactive platform?
It’s the Banks decision to accept the Chargeback case or not. If you cant provide enough details then no Bank would start a Chargeback Case for you. (Guess what, Merchants paying fees 10$-100$ per Case).
An interactive plattform would be a big target for card fraud.
In 99% of all cases the merchant is refunding the payment if you contact them with proof.
