Contactless limit reached while paying online

Tried to pay about EUR 400 online, but it gets declined stating “contactless limit reached”.

Send request to customer service, but that will take about 2 weeks. Any idea?

Have you tried checking your app settings? There may be an option to raise limits by verifying your identity again, I went through that though I can not see the option now so can not provide screenshots

This time customer service was very fast and told me it was related to wrong setting on the payment provider side!

I forwarded the info to the merchant and it worked later that day.
