Go back in time - longer interest free period

Does anyone know if we can use Go back in time to move a transaction after the statement has been generated, meaning I won’t have to pay until the next statement e.g.

Pay on Credit Card A on the 15th, statement generated 8th of following month
GBiT to Credit Card B on the 5th, statement generated 4th month.

So I remove it from Card A before the statement is generated but after the statement on Card B, so it would give me extra time before it’s due.

Does anyone know if this works, or does the original date follow through?

It works, I have used that several times. I prolong my interest free period.
Only that in September we shall only be having 30 days from when transaction was made to GBiT

Perfect, thanks, this will come in very useful
