Strange Transaction - Duplicated?

Having been a very happy user of my Curve Metal card for a couple of years now I have had an issue recently where their processes have managed to create an erroneous transaction that has charged an additional 50 % of the amount for a second time (which in the case of this particular transaction is not a small amount). I have had this in the past where it was a pre-auth which disappeared after a few days but this time it’s gone all the way through and is now on my credit card statement and as such is going to cause me some challenges later this month when the bank takes payment.
Have reported it to the team at Curve and await their feedback.
Has anyone else seen this ?
