Unable to use Curve card with Uber app

Lately Uber stopped accepting Curve card with the following error message.

MASTERCARD xxxx: We are unable to accept this payment method. Please contact your payment provider or try adding another payment method.

Has anyone also seen this kind of behavior? Is this a bug?

Hmm! I haven’t tried adding my card to Uber, I’ll give it a go now!

I have my Curve card in my Uber account and I used it successfully last week.

Seems like it’s not a bug. Was customer support able to help you out?

They’re still figuring it out. No luck yet.

I have the same problem repeatedly. Every so often it seems to work but mostly it’s declined. Only a problem with curve. My other cards are always fine.

Remove the card and add again to Uber app. That fixed my problem

I’ve removed and re-added my card in uber app. We will see when I next try to use uber… probably at the weekend. Thanks for the tip though. Fingers crossed!
